Recovery

What a confident return to sport actually looks like

Why pain relief is only one milestone in complete sports rehabilitation.

Practical education supports recovery, but it cannot replace an assessment tailored to your symptoms and health history.

Pain-free does not always mean ready

A joint can feel comfortable before strength, control, and endurance have returned. Rehabilitation should prepare you for the speed, direction changes, lifting, or repeated effort your sport actually demands.

Progress should be measurable

Useful milestones include range of motion, side-to-side strength, balance, hopping or landing quality, and confidence during sport-specific drills—not only the number of weeks since injury.

Build exposure gradually

A staged return allows training volume and intensity to increase while symptoms remain predictable. The goal is not simply to get back once, but to stay available for the season ahead.

Start your recovery
